We are delighted to announce that the application for the Bernstein Node Bonn–Cologne has been officially approved. With this approval, the node is now formally part of the Bernstein Network, one of Germany’s leading research networks in computational and systems neuroscience.
The establishment of the Bernstein Node Bonn–Cologne strengthens the close collaboration between neuroscience researchers in the Bonn–Cologne region and further consolidates its role as an internationally visible hub for computational, systems, and cognitive neuroscience. The node brings together expertise spanning theoretical and computational modeling, experimental neuroscience, and clinical applications, with a strong focus on interdisciplinary research and translational impact.
As part of the Bernstein Network, the node will contribute to joint research activities, training initiatives, and scientific exchange across institutions. We look forward to fostering new collaborations and advancing innovative research at the interface of neuroscience, computation, and medicine.
